Wheatgerm

Wheatgerm is extremely high in Vitamin E and has a great anti-oxidant action. It is packed full of essential fatty acids and minerals. It helps to soften the skin and is expecially good for dry and ageing skin. This oil is beneficial for tired aching muscles, try it in a sports massage blend!

Wheatgerm is a thick, sticky oil extremely high in Vitamin E and therefore very useful when added to blends for its anti-oxidant action. Use neat on small areas of extremely dry, weathered skin. Otherwise, it can be mixed with other base oils up to 10%.

Contraindications: Avoid use on those with a wheat allergy.

Family: Graminae.

This oil is deep rusty orange in colour.
