No chemical or high heat processing is used and the finished oil is bottled within hours at the source. Rainbow Trout Omega Oil is an alternative to cod liver oil, providing necessary essential fatty acids. Essential fatty acids need to be obtained from food as they are not naturally produced by the human body. EPA and DHA are essential omega 3 fatty acids which are commonly found in fish oils.
