Bio-MSM and Silica

Pharma Nord Bio-MSM and Silica is a combination nutritional supplement containing MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane) and Silica. As we age, our connective tissue loses some of its strength and elasticity, causing our skin to sag and wrinkle and our nails to become brittle. The content of organic silica in MSM and Silica supplements derives from the extract of the herb horsetail grass which supports the maintenance of skin, hair and nails. 

Organic sulfur (from MSM) and silica are both components of collagen, keratin and elastin. This assists in the structure and maintenance of healthy skin,hair and nails. Sulphur and silica also benefit the formation of collagen in connective tissue which includes cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. Sulfur and silica can therefore help maintain the flexibility of joints. They also help maintain the flexibility and strength of arteries and internal membranes.

Sulphur and silicon are required by the body for normal growth and development. We are born with high levels of silica but this naturally declines with age.
