The use of Astragalus Root dates back over 2000 years in China where it has been used because of its ability to balance body systems. The root is a yellow color and contributes to the Chinese name, huang qi, meaning “yellow leader.” It has been used in China to strengthen “chi”, the body’s life force and protective energy.
